Danmarks egen produktion af energi dækkede sidste år 60 procent af energiforbruget her i landet i form af råolie, naturgas og vedvarende energi med mere. Året forinden var tallet 55 procent.

I 2022 faldt forbruget af naturgas med 29 procent – og en tredjedel af gassen i ledningsnettet kom fra biogas. Forbruget af kul faldt samtidig 3,4 procent, mens produktionen af el fra vindmøller og solceller steg 22 procent og dækkede næsten 60 procent af elforsyningen.

Det viser Energistyrelsens foreløbige energistatistik for 2022. Den er netop udkommet.

Det lavere forbrug af fossile brændsler førte til lavere CO2-udslip. De faktisk CO2-emissioner fra energiforbruget i Danmark faldt 0,9 procent i forhold til året før.
