Først overtog DBC Invest aktiemajoriteten i Grauballegaard Biogas, dernæst købte selskabet en betydelig ejerandel i Sindal Biogas, og nu senest har de tre partnere købt en mindre aktieandel i investeringsfonden Sønderjysk Biogas Invest, som ejer 50 procent af Sønderjysk Biogas.
- Vi har været i dialog med Sønderjysk Biogas Invest i et stykke tid og er glade for at blive en del af ejerkredsen. Vi ser gode udviklingsmuligheder i anlægget og ser gerne et endnu tættere partnerskab med anlægget fremadrettet, siger Rune Ledgaard Sørensen, direktør i DBC Invest.
Sønderjysk Biogas er i øjeblikket i gang med en større udvidelse af anlægget. Det forventes på årsbasis at kunne behandle ca. 1.000.000 ton biomasse og producere ca. 42 mio. kubikmeter opgraderet biogas, ligesom det vurderes, at anlægget på sigt vil kunne reducere den danske klimabelastning med ca. 150.000 tons CO2.
Biogas Danmark arbejder for at sikre omstillingen til et fossilt uafhængigt samfund.
